Accoya - Timber Warranty

Accoya is the name given to a modified timber that has undergone a process called acetylation. This process of timber treatment had been studied by wood scientists for many decades before being introduced to the timber market by a British company, Accsys Technologies. The durability of the timber has undergone testing by the Building Research establishment and the Timber Research Association leading to Accoya being given the written warranty for its durability and long life.

• 50 Year guarantee against rot or decay when used above ground

This Warranty is exclusive to the original purchaser of Accoya® wood, plus the original owner of any structure on which the Accoya® wood is installed and the next owner of that structure.
