Custom Design Planters, we offer wooden garden planters with panels machined with your custom panel design together with optional finials to complement your design. All planters are built to order and made any size using premium quality timber, liner and paint together with mortice and tenon construction to ensure that your planter is built to the highest quality.
We use Accoya, a premium grade sustainable and environmentally friendly timber for the frame, base support and finials. The planter side panels and sectional base are made from MEDITE® TRICOYA® EXTREME Engineered Wood Panels. Both have exceptional durability and dimensional stability with minimal expansion or shrinkage than other timbers, this results in paint finishes lasting much longer. Accoya and Medite Tricoya Extreme have a 50 year timber guarantee against rot, when used above ground, surpassing even teak. Our garden planters are also fitted with a durable and environmentally friendly Butyl liner with a lifetime guarantee. Giving you peace of mind that your garden planter will last for decades.
Our planters are made using 70mm x 70mm legs with 70mm x 60mm rails, this ensures a strong heavy duty frame and base, in addition to ensure maximum strength, the planter side panels are also fully rebated on all 4 sides.
The liner is fitted for both aesthetic and drainage management purposes, this is fitted around the inner perimeter of the planter, to the full height of the inner side panels and extends 50mm onto the planter base boards. We then fit loose fitting sections of butyl liner to cover the base, which can be lifted and cut as required to provide adjustment for drainage holes and any irrigation pipes.
We offer the choice of any colour including colour matching RAL codes, using premium quality, genuine paints from Little Greene Paint Company or Farrow & Ball.

We will send you a CAD drawing of your proposed planter design for your approval and consent prior to construction.

Every wooden garden planter is built to order in our Suffolk workshop and usually ready for delivery within 4 - 8 weeks.
