We use Accoya, a premium grade environmentally friendly FSC timber for the frame, base and finials. The planter legs are made from 70mm x 70mm Accoya, the planter rails are made using 44mm x 44mm Accoya and the base is made from 20mm Accoya boards with gaps to allow for drainage and irrigation. The planter sides are made using the strongest, maximum thickness 18mm MEDITE® TRICOYA® EXTREME Engineered Wood Panels.
Both have exceptional durability with a 25 year timber guarantee against rot or decay. Accoya and Tricoya have exceptional dimensional stability, with much less expansion or shrinkage than other timbers, this results in paint finishes lasting twice as long.
